(Translation) 13 May 2009 Subject : The Explanation for the cause of the change in the Company's performance with respect of the 1st quarter of 2009 financial statement of the Company ending 31 March 2009. To : President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Referring to Sansiri Public Company Limited's the 1st quarter of 2009 financial statement of the Company ending 31 March 2009, it has reported a profit which varied more than 20%, compared to the previous year. With this regard, the Company would like to explain as the following. The result of the first quarter showed profit of 119 million baht meanwhile previous year outcome for similar period registered loss at 254 million baht. Total revenue has expanded by 372 million baht from 2,578 million baht to 2,950 million baht mainly due to over double income of condominium. Overall outlay slightly reduced to 2,831 million baht compared to 2,832 million baht of last year's. However, such preceding year expenditures marked higher figured as a result of building reform of condo one projects.This would be the principal factor that has resulted in more than 20% variance of the profit of the Company and its subsidiaries when compared to the previous year.
