Attn : President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Referring to Sansiri Public Company Limited's 3rd quarter of 2001 financial statement ending 30 September 2001, which reports a profit that varied more than 20%, compared to that of the same period of the previous year. With this regard, the Company would like to explain that in the 3rd quarter of 2000, the Company's net profit mainly came from the reverse of allowance for doubtful debts stemmed from a success of debt restructuring, while in 2001 subsidiary has transferred asset at under book value to creditor according to debt restructuring. Also, another subsidiaries could not record the payment for internet and telecommunication development together with marketing related as prepaid expenses in order to amortize in proportion with the future income. These are the main reasons that has resulted in more than 20% variance of the profit of the Company and its subsidiaries when compared to the same period of the previous year.
