Ref. SS/0130/2000 March 3, 2000 Subject : Additional clarification of the Company's performance report. To : Director and Manager The Stock Exchange of Thailand Reference: Letter of the Company Ref. SS/0114/2000 re: The Explanation for the cause of the change on the Companys' performance with respect of financial statement of the Company for the year ended December 31, 1999 With reference to the letter dated February 29, 2000 regarding to the performance of Sansiri Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries for the year ended December 31, 1999 reported total loss of 1,293.55 MB. decreased from the same period of the previous year which reported net loss 1,610.22 MB. The Company would like to clarify more details on the item of selling and administrative expenses amounting 814.60 MB. in Statement of Income for the year ended December 31, 1999. In order to comply with the Accounting Standard No. 36 on Impairment of Assets, the Company recorded the value of the assets by using the new appraisal value and recorded loss from impairment of assets totaling 544.69 MB. in 1999, the rest of 269.91 MB. came from operation and selling expenses, legal dispute reserve, depreciation and others.
