(Translation) 13 August 2009 Subject : The Explanation for the cause of the change in the Company's performance with respect of the 2nd quarter of 2009 financial statement of the Company ending 30 June 2009. To : President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Referring to Sansiri Public Company Limited's the 2nd quarter of 2009 financial statement of the Company ending 30 June 2009, it has reported a profit which varied more than 20%, compared to the previous year. With this regard, the Company would like to explain as the following. The second quarter performance recorded net profit at 387 million baht, a substantial improvement compared to 179 million baht profit for the same period of prior year. This came from two important factors namely the continuous expansion of around 8% on total revenue and a decline by approximately 13% on proportion of selling and administrative expenses to total revenue. Total revenue further became greater to 3,643 million baht or an increase of 269 million baht acquired mainly from project sales realization. Meanwhile percentage of selling and administrative expenses to total revenue recuperated from 19% to about 16%. This would be the principal factor that has resulted in more than 20% variance of the profit of the Company and its subsidiaries when compared to the previous year.
