SS./ 1510 /2008 13 August 2008 Subject : The Explanation for the cause of the change in the Company's performance with respect of the 2nd quarter of 2008 financial statement of the Company ending 30 June 2008. To : President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Referring to Sansiri Public Company Limited's the 2nd quarter of 2008 financial statement of the Company ending 30 June 2008, it has reported a profit which varied more than 20%, compared to the previous year. With this regard, the Company would like to explain as the following. Profit of this quarter greatly improved by 3.9 times to 179 million baht compared to the same period's of prior year. Two major reasons influenced to such significant growth. Firstly, total revenue shored up by 16% from 2,921 million baht for the same previous year period to 3,374 million baht. This was on account of revenues from project sales reaching 3,168 million baht or an escalation of 17% from 2,707 million baht. The other cause was proportion of total expenses (excluded cost) to total revenues declining by 23% from 24.4% in earlier year to 18.8%. This would be the principal factor that has resulted in more than 20% variance of the profit of the Company and its subsidiaries when compared to the previous year.
