SS./ 2675 / 2004 13 August 2004 Re : The Explanation for the cause of the change in the Company's performance with respect of the 2nd quarter of 2004 financial statement of the Company ending 30 June 2004. Attn : President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Referring to Sansiri Public Company Limited's 2nd quarter of 2004 financial statement ending 30 June 2004, it has reported a profit which varied more than 20%, compared to the previous year. With this regard, the Company would like to explain that though 2004 total revenue for second quarter reached about 1.3 billion baht which doubled from the same period in previous year, this quarter profit remained lower beyond 20% of preceding year's. The important factor came principally from a significant profit of debt restructuring in similar time of the year before. This is the main factor that has resulted in more than 20% variance of the profit of the Company and its subsidiaries when compared to the previous year. Therefore, we inform you respectfully.
